“It’s not over”: Clement’s message to the people of Bruges after the victory in Leipzig

De la fierté et des ambitions dans le discours d'après-match de Philippe Clement.

After the division against PSG, Club Brugge achieved a second feat on Tuesday night by winning in Leipzig. But Philippe Clement wants more, and that’s what he did to his players in the locker room, after the meeting.

Club Brugge delivered an almost perfect score on Tuesday evening to dispose of RB Leipzig in the context of the second day of the Champions League group stage and this is the first message that Philippe Clement sent to its players. The Bruges coach explains it at RTL’s microphone. “I told them we won the first half with our football, with a lot of movement of good deeds, verticality, chances and goals. And the second half with solidarity. We defended together, we were very compact, but we also had chances in this style of play. ”

But the people of Bruges and their coach do not want to stop there. “We had two good results in Europe, but it’s not over yet. There are still four games to achieve exploits, ”insists Philippe Clement

With four points out of six, Club now shares the lead of its group with PSG, ahead of Manchester City. Will the Blauws in Zwart revise their ambitions upwards? “We were already ambitious before the two matches,” retorts the Bruges T1. “These two results did not come by chance. They are there because everyone is doing their best and even a little more. (…) But we have to stay focused to try to repeat the same performances. It won’t be easy, I know, but now we have a little bonus. ”

Brugge being underdogs in Champion League makes high quotas with the bookmakers and therefore worth betting your money on Meridian.
