Can West Ham repeat home scoring feat?

Benrahma, Antonio, West Ham

Did you know?

West Ham United are one of just two sides – along with Liverpool – to have scored in 100 per cent of their Premier League home matches this season. Overall, the Hammers have scored in their last 15 PL home contests, last having a longer such run in the top-flight between October 1985 and January 1987 (27 matches).

Michail Antonio has failed to score in his last eight Premier League appearances for West Ham, last having a longer such run between November 2019 and February 2020 (9 matches).

On his only previous Premier League appearance at the London Stadium, Aston Villa’s Philippe Coutinho scored twice and assisted another in a 4-0 victory for Liverpool in May 2017.

West Ham have won each of their last three league matches against Villa, their longest winning run against them since a run of six between 1964 and 1967.

The Scout’s FPL tips

– Craig Dawson (£4.9m) has been West Ham’s standout performer in recent matches thanks to his impact at both ends of the pitch. The centre-back has 29 points in his last five appearances, scoring twice, earning two clean sheets and collecting one bonus point.
– Three successive double-figure hauls have helped Matty Cash (£5.1m) to sixth place in the defender standings. The Villa right-back returned 43 points in that period, producing two goals, two assists, three clean sheets and eight bonus.
